Dr. Dereje Duguma, State minister of health, Ethiopia discussed with Mr. Joel Spicer
President and Chief executive officer of Nutrition International.
They discussed the collaborative works done to improve nutritional status of Ethiopians. The way that Nutrition International (NI) could support the Seqota Declaration (SD) expansion program in different regions was due attention on their discussion.
Dr. Dereje stated that enhancement of food system transformation and expansion of School feeding are among the achievements of Government of Ethiopian (GoE). He also stressed that GoE is committed to expand the SD to additional Woredas.
Mr. Joel affirmed that NI provides its technical assistant to strengthen nutrition programing in Ethiopia.
NI is a member of Ethiopian Civil Society Coalition for Scaling Up Nutrition (ECSC-SUN) and work with Go to improve the nutritional status of women, girls, and children.
